Raw, Vegan, Gluten Free Cinnamon Candied Almond Recipe

These almonds are great roasted almond substitutes. Make a big batch up and package in mason jars or holiday goodie bags as gifts.

Ingredients:

•4 cups raw organic almonds soaked, rinsed (or you can soak them for 12 hours & rinse for assimilation)
•1 cup organic coconut sugar
•2 tsp raw, organic cinnamon powder
•1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt

Directions:
Mix together the sugar, cinnamon & sea salt. Roll the wet almonds in the mixture until well coated. Lay on trays & place in your Excalibur dehydrator for about 8 hours until dried. *If you soak your almonds you will need to dehydrate for longer - up to 24 hours. If you don't have an Excalibur dehydrator, you can use the lowest setting of your oven and heat for about 8 hours. ENJOY!

Variations: Try adding 1/4 teaspoon of Vanilla Bean Powder for Cinnamon Vanilla Almonds. You can also try different nuts. We like mixing our American Native Pecans in with the almonds or even just doing creating a batch of cinnamon pecans!
