As I'm in my 50s my nutritionist recommended a high protien diet. I've been looking for raw vegan recipes that are high in protien and have high score on the high-satiety scale. I tested this one this week. It was great especially with the texture of the flax seeds. 59 on the Hava app score.
Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp chia seeds
- *2 cup unsweetened coconut milk (preferably raw almond milk)
- 2 tbsp hemp heart seeds
- 2 tbsp flax seeds
- 3 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 strawberries (sliced)
Method:
- Stir milk and seeds
- Wait 5 minutes and stir again
- Add cinnamon and salt
- Place covered (can use a plate to cover bowl) in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- Optional: Add 3 strawberries sliced for decroation and flavor.
- Add hemp heart seeds and enjoy cold!
