Chia Seed Pudding Recipe with Hemp Hearts & Flaxseeds

As I'm in my 50s my nutritionist recommended a high protien diet.  I've been looking for raw vegan recipes that are high in protien and have high score on the high-satiety scale. I tested this one this week.  It was great especially with the texture of the flax seeds.  59 on the Hava app score.


Ingredients: 

  • 4 tbsp chia seeds
  • *2 cup unsweetened coconut milk (preferably raw almond milk)
  • 2 tbsp hemp heart seeds
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 strawberries (sliced)

Method: 

  1. Stir milk and seeds
  2. Wait 5 minutes and stir again
  3. Add cinnamon and salt
  4. Place covered (can use a plate to cover bowl) in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  5. Optional: Add 3 strawberries sliced for decroation and flavor.
  6. Add hemp heart seeds and enjoy cold!
